Basic
Well, let's see, I'm currently 25 years old. I'm a good old fashioned computer nerd, yet my significant other and better half Ciara keeps putting up with me (I'm still trying to work out why...)
I have a BA (Mod) in Computer Science from TCD. I work as a Linux/Unix Systems Administrator (aka a sysadmin) in Google, based primarily in their EU Headquaters in Dublin. Additionally, I am the Events Coordinator for the Irish Chapter of System Administrators Guild - SAGE-IE.

Beliefs
I am an atheist and have been from the age of 9. I have no soul (I sold it for ½ a tub of blue hair dye during my first few months in college ;). I am known to be sadistic and sarcastic, yet open minded and against racism. I have few, probably no morals, but I do have ethics. My political beliefs are closest, but not always agreeable with the Irish Labour party, with occasional tendencies towards ideas from the Green Party (but this may be because they are the main political party willing actually correspond coherently with me about issues).
Interests
My various interests include travelling, photography (see photo gallery on Flickr), films and certain TV series (of a wide taste, as demonstrated by my DVD Collection), an eclectic music taste (as also demonstrated in my partially catalogued CD/MP3 Collection) and a keen interest in ethnic food, such as Thai, Chinese, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, Mexican, Persian cuisine, etc...

- Beer: Erdinger Wießbier, Temple Braü, Corona with Lime, Hoegaarden, Sierra Nevada or samples of various available ale(s)

Computers
I fully admit to being a computer nerd. I like tinkering with computers and networking equipment. I'm a Mac Head, and a Unix fan. For a desktop system, I prefer MacOS X, or Fluxbox as my failsafe. For servers, I prefer to use FreeBSD or Debian. I am a Debian maintainer and I have keen interests in a number of open source projects whose products I frequently use, including the FreeBSD, Ubuntu and Apache projects; and I am able to assure others as part of the CAcert project.
